This section sets out details of Little Bertha’s Customer Service policy for your purchases. If you require clarification or have any questions please contact our kitchen on (03) 9421 6663 (6.00am to 4.00pm Monday to Friday) or after hours Richard Hardy on 0412 274 108.

Orders and Delivery

We will deliver to most addresses within Victoria, but do not deliver to interstate or to international locations. We require a street address for delivery – unfortunately we cannot deliver to a P.O. Box. Some remote locations cannot be serviced, however our logistics team will do their best.

The locations we can deliver to may change from time-to-time.  Please call our kitchen to find out if we deliver to your location.

  • Online: Register and create an account at www.littlebertha.com.au and simply order online.  For wholesale customers please contact us so we can set up the appropriate account for you.

Please note that all of our products are only available in mutiples of 6, 12 and per kg.  This is clearly detailed with the information on each individual product.

As we are a small bakery and all of our products are made to order, we need 36 hours notice to bake and deliver your order. For the same reason we also need 36 hours notice for any changes to, or cancellation of your order.  We understand that sometimes you may need your order sooner than 36 hours or delivery at specific times.  We will make every effort to accommodate these requests.

All deliveries are made between 9.00am to 4.00pm on Monday and 7am to 2pm on Tuesday to Friday.  Please note at this point in time we do not deliver on weekends.

Public Holidays: Please note that we are closed on public holidays.  We request that customers place orders as early as possible to ensure you have sufficient stock levels.  We are happy to make additional deliveries to wholesalers, outside your normal delivery days, to get you over these periods.

Delivery Instructions and Acceptance

Little Bertha prides itself on customer service and will rectify any matter you are unsatisfied with where possible and within reason. We are not responsible for any late delivery or failure to deliver due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

If necessary, Little Bertha will contact you shortly before delivery to arrange a suitable delivery time and delivery location (where reasonable) at your address.  Please ensure that your requested delivery location is free from obstructions and is otherwise in a clean and tidy state to prevent any delivery delays. At the time of delivery, you will be asked to sign a form to acknowledge that the goods were delivered in good and proper condition. Where you have requested that a representative accept delivery of the goods on your behalf, this delivery acknowledgement will be obtained by Little Bertha from your representative.

If you are unsure if you will be available at the delivery address during the delivery hours, we recommend nominating a work address or address of a family member or neighbour who will be present during the delivery hours.

Please note that risk for loss or damaged product passes to the customer upon delivery of the product(s) by the driver.

Cost of delivery

All wholesale deliveries incur a special flat fee.

All other orders incur a delivery charge calculated on a per order basis and according to your delivery address.  As an indication of delivery costs, we provide some examples below:

  • CBD & local – free delivery
  • Inner Metro Melbourne - $10 per delivery
  • Greater Melbourne & Surrounds – $20 per delivery
  • Country Victoria  – call for a quote

You will have the opportunity (based on your entered postcode) to view the finalised delivery charges on your order at the checkout stage before you complete your order and make payment.

Remember if you like you can always pick up orders from our wholesale kitchen in Abbotsford.  We would love to see you.

Viewing Orders: Once you have registered and logged in you can view all your past orders online.  This makes re-ordering simple and fast.

Pricing, Payment & Promotions

Little Bertha releases seasonal menus every six months.  These menus are subject to price changes and accordingly we request you review each new addition of the menu.  Our website will always reflect the most recent menu and prices.

We prefer not to provide wholesale credit but rather accept cash or cheque on delivery to reduce the administration for you as a customer and Little Bertha.  Please discuss your preferred payment method with the Little Bertha representative that has initial contact with you.

Our Little Bertha newsletter will detail special offers, discounts and other promotional events.  You can subscribe and unsubscribe to this newsletter by logging in and making the appropriate changes on your dashboard.
